You know what’s absurd? Waking up at 6:15am for work. I used to think I would like to be the type of person that was able to wake up, go for a jog, make breakfast, eat breakfast, check e-mails, take a shower, go run an errand, then go to work. I hear those people are really successful. You know what I think they really are? CRAZY! They don’t understand the loving comforting embrace of 7 pillows and 2 blankets until 8:00 in the morning. It’s glorious and I want to be in it. Always.
So it really hurts my feelings on the type of morning that I have to separate from my bed early. Mostly because I love my bed but also partly because it is NEVER a good thing if I am waking up before 8:00. It means that I have to be at work before 8:30. (Yes, I am a girl. Yes, it literally takes me 30 minutes or less to get ready for work. #lowmaintenance oh, and I don’t have a commute so there’s that too….).
I was a zombie by 9:00am today. Ugh. So the extent of my energy lies in my ability to write this blog; bitch about being tired and then share a delicious recipe with you in exchange for your time.
Viola.
