Happy Sunday! What a lovey day it was. I slept in (I had a little bit of a hangover from last night so I skipped the gym) and then had the whole apartment to myself for the afternoon. I spent my time folding laundry, watching girly movies and you guessed it, cooking!
The boys spent the afternoon at the Vikings game and I was happy to have them at the game instead of watching the game. Have I mentioned that I am not a football fan? But even if football wasn’t on TV in my home this afternoon, it still felt like it was necessary to have some buffalo chicken wings ready for the guys when they got back.
I made these wings a little bit differently today and they turned out absolutely PERFECT. Landon and Aldon were fighting over the last one! I just don’t know if I am ready to share my secret recipe for the perfect buffalo chicken wings just yet. Unless you REALLY want it? Leave a comment if you want the recipe!
After the wings were complete, it was meal prep as usual. I decided I need to get some “meal prep slippers,” because standing on the hardwood floors in our kitchen for 5 hours does TERRIBLE TERRIBLE things to my feet. Normally, my meal prep comes well into the evening which doesn’t leave me time to have an actual dinner meal on Sunday’s. Usually I eat a spoonful of this and a forkful of that while cooking and don’t sit down until 8pm. I don’t know how I made it so efficient today but I was done with prep and SITTING IN THE RECLINER by 5:30pm. I forgot how lovely it feels to sit and relax on a Sunday evening! I should try this more often! After meal prep only though, meal prep is definitely more important than relaxation.

- Teriyaki Steak + Broccoli
- Denver Omelet Casserole
- Strawberry Banana Muffins
